Women’s Mental Health
Care Designed Around Every Stage of Your Journey

At Horizon Mental Health & Wellness PLLC, we recognize that women can experience unique mental health challenges throughout different stages of life. Hormonal changes, relationships, family responsibilities, career demands, pregnancy, motherhood, major life transitions, and physical health can all influence emotional well-being.
Our approach is centered on the whole woman—not simply a diagnosis.

We provide compassionate, confidential, and individualized psychiatric care designed to help women better understand what they are experiencing, regain emotional balance, and feel more like themselves again.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Mental Health
Pregnancy and becoming a mother can bring tremendous change. While these experiences can be joyful, they may also be accompanied by anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, emotional exhaustion, difficulty sleeping, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where women can discuss these experiences openly and without judgment.
When medication is being considered during pregnancy, postpartum, or breastfeeding, we carefully evaluate potential benefits and risks and collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Perimenopause, Menopause & Emotional Wellness
Changes in hormones during perimenopause and menopause may occur alongside changes in mood, anxiety, concentration, energy, and sleep.
These symptoms deserve to be taken seriously.
We provide psychiatric evaluation to help determine what may be contributing to these changes and develop an individualized treatment strategy. When appropriate, we can coordinate with your primary-care provider, OB-GYN, or other members of your healthcare team

More Than Medication
Effective mental healthcare begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms.
Depending on your individual needs, treatment may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, therapy referrals, and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
Our goal is to create a treatment plan that supports not only symptom improvement, but also your confidence, functioning, relationships, and overall quality of life.
